How we chose these fintech events
We looked for events with a strong track record, a senior audience, real deal-making and a clear reason to attend. We also aimed for a spread of regions and specialisms, from payments and transaction banking to policy, digital public infrastructure and startup investment. The list runs in date order, not as a ranking.

Fintech Meetup is built around meetings rather than keynotes. Attendees book pre-matched, double opt-in meetings in advance, and the organisers report more than 5,000 attendees and over 50,000 meetings. If your 2027 goal is partnerships with US financial institutions, this is one of the most efficient weeks of the year.
3. Money20/20 Europe
- When: 8–10 June 2027
- Where: RAI Amsterdam, the Netherlands
- Best for: Payments, banking and fintech executives
Europe’s biggest payments and fintech show. The organisers report more than 7,400 attendees from over 100 countries, with a high share of senior decision-makers. Expect a busy floor, big-name speakers and a packed meeting schedule, so book your diary early.
4. Point Zero Forum
- When: Expected June 2027 (the 2026 edition ran 23–25 June)
- Where: Kongresshaus Zürich, Switzerland
- Best for: Policymakers, regulators and senior finance leaders
A smaller, policy-heavy forum from the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) and the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance, held in cooperation with the BIS Innovation Hub, FINMA, the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Swiss National Bank. The organisers cite around 2,000 attendees and more than 80 regulators and central banks. Come here for the conversations on digital assets, tokenisation and cross-border rules.
5. Global Fintech Fest
- When: Expected September–October 2027 (the 2026 edition ran 8–11 September)
- Where: Jio World Centre, Mumbai, India
- Best for: Payments, UPI and digital public infrastructure
Organised by the Payments Council of India, NPCI and the Fintech Convergence Council, with support from India’s financial regulators, Global Fintech Fest is one of the largest fintech gatherings by footfall: organisers expected more than 100,000 attendees in 2026. It is the place to understand India’s payments model and meet the companies building on it.
6. Money20/20 Middle East
- When: 14–16 September 2027
- Where: Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center (Malham), Saudi Arabia
- Best for: Anyone targeting Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC

7. Sibos 2027
- When: 20–23 September 2027
- Where: Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
- Best for: Transaction banking, payments, securities and market infrastructure
Swift’s annual conference is where the global banking system meets. Sibos moves city every year, and 2027 brings it to Singapore, so it is a rare chance to combine Sibos with the region’s wider fintech scene. Expect senior bankers, market infrastructures and policymakers rather than startups.

Backed by the Hong Kong government and its financial regulators, the festival reported more than 45,000 participants from over 120 economies in 2025. It is strong on virtual assets, Web3 policy and investment flows between mainland China and international markets.

Tips for planning your 2027 fintech events calendar
- Pick two or three anchor events that match your main goal for the year, such as raising, selling or hiring, then add smaller events around them.
- Watch the September crunch. Money20/20 Middle East and Sibos fall within a week of each other in 2027, so plan travel early if you want both.
- Book meetings before you fly. Most of these events have meeting tools. The best calendars fill weeks before the doors open.
- Go regional when it counts. A focused regional event is often better value than a mega show. See our lists of the top fintech events in the UAE and the top fintech events in Asia-Pacific for 2027.
