This Privacy Policy explains how Internetshine Technologies Private Limited (“FinNext”, “we”, “us”), the organiser of FinNext Conference, collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit finnextcon.com, register for an event, submit a nomination, application or enquiry, or attend a FinNext edition in Dubai, London or Singapore.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Internetshine Technologies Private Limited, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. You can contact us about privacy at any time at contact@finnextcon.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact and professional details, such as your name, email address, phone number, job title, organisation and country
- Registration and ticket details, including the edition and pass type you choose
- Award nominations, speaker applications, sponsorship enquiries and messages you send us
- Dietary or accessibility requirements you choose to share, used only to arrange your attendance
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details from Stripe, such as your name, email, billing country, card brand, the last four digits of your card and the payment status. We never receive or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically: when you use our website we collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and referring website, using cookies and similar technologies (see section 10).
At our events: check-in records, badge scans you agree to, and photographs and video recorded during the event (see section 7).
3. How we use your information
- To process registrations and payments and deliver the event you booked (performance of a contract)
- To send you practical information about the event, such as venue details, agendas and changes (contract and legitimate interests)
- To review award nominations, speaker applications and sponsorship enquiries (legitimate interests)
- To send news about future FinNext events, where you have agreed or where the law allows; you can unsubscribe at any time (consent or legitimate interests)
- To protect our website and forms from spam, fraud and abuse (legitimate interests)
- To understand how our website is used and improve it (consent where required)
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation)
4. Google reCAPTCHA
Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
5. Payments by Stripe
Ticket payments are handled by Stripe, which processes your card details under its own Privacy Policy. Stripe may use your information to prevent fraud and meet its regulatory obligations.
6. Who we share information with
- Service providers who help us run FinNext, such as our website host, payment processor, email and form tools, under contracts that protect your data
- Venues, caterers and security providers, only as needed to run the event
- Sponsors and exhibitors, only when you choose to share your details with them, for example by allowing your badge to be scanned or opting in on a form
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it
- A buyer or successor if our business or events are transferred, under equivalent protections
We do not sell your personal data.
7. Photography, video and badge scanning
FinNext events are photographed and filmed, and images may appear on our website, social media and marketing. If you prefer not to be photographed, please tell our team at registration. If you let a sponsor or exhibitor scan your badge, your contact details are shared with that company, which then uses them under its own privacy policy.
8. International transfers
We are based in India and run events in the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Singapore, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.
9. How long we keep your information
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above: registration and payment records for as long as required by tax and accounting law, marketing preferences until you unsubscribe, and nominations and applications for as long as needed to run and document the relevant programme. After that, we delete or anonymise it.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the website work and, with your consent where required, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. reCAPTCHA also uses cookies on pages with forms. You can control cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Ask us to delete your data or restrict how we use it
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time
- Withdraw consent you have given, without affecting earlier processing
- Complain to your local data protection authority

12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No online service is completely secure, so please contact us if you believe your information has been compromised.
13. Children
FinNext events and this website are intended for professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
